Ok i had to share the ones i made yesterday for my tutorial I'm working on! They are just as stinkin cute in B&W as in color! My house is being invaded by these lil robotz! As my husband walked in the house and he saw all these lil Robots on the end table all he could do was just shake his head.  He did ask how many more will be there tommorrow? I said "there my new little friends, so who knows!" :) Anyways, my kids are dying to make some and i told them they have to wait til I'm done w/the tutorial so I can have them test drive them!  They are NOT pressuring me at all! ;)

So without any further ado here are my newest Friends:

Corners, Tags & More MTC! file

This is a great collection of corners, tags and designs!  I like to try to get "collections" of similar things and make them smaller but have them in one file. I find it easier to find what i need at the time and saves me alot of time looking thru hundreds if not thousands of files to find what i need. I open that particular "collection" and find the "item" i want then copy and paste into a new "page" on MTC! and resize if necessary, then cut what i need. So you will see more "collections" posted.

Tags, Corners, and More

as always feel free to Donate, but is not a requirement. I leave it up to you. but would love to see your creations too! Thanks

CFS Cards!

I have been part of a group on the Cricut MB for 3 yrs now! Can't believe its been that long! We send cards to soldiers overseas for them to be able to send home to family and friends.  It gives me great joy to do this for them and their families.  I use to be a shipper but due to my unfortunate circumstances I financially was having a difficult time. But i can never give up making these cards!  Anyways, a gal that is a SU! Demo (her site) sent me some punched out Birds and branches(2 Step Bird Punch 117191) to see what i could come up with for the Fathers day theme or masculine cards for inspiration.  So this is what I came up with

If intrested in signing up to join our group (doesn't require a cricut) you can either email me or Sign up Here

Recycle those Scrapbook Stack covers

You know how you buy those stacks of scrapbook paper? Like from DCWV for example they have the front cover that shows what the stack is and on the otherside its a nice glossy (usually sometimes mat) white. The back of the stack is usually a little thicker chipboard brown (sometimes one side will have the nice glossy white) I took the covers and backs from a few of the smaller "mat stacks" and some notebook paper from the kids notebooks that didn't get all used from school.  See I always pull out those pages before recycleing their notebooks from school.  I tirmmed them down to size and now i have some cute little notepads.  I used some scrapbook paper to cover the fronts of the "mat stacks"  added some embellishments, punched a hole with my cropodile, and added a jump ring and this is what I got:

Recycled Notebooks

I made a few lil notebooks, drawing pads and note pads from recycled chipboard and cardboard.

Took the "Cheeze It" box and made 3 books from it.

The bigger one i used construction paper inside for a doodle pad and punched holes and added jump rings for binding.  I covered the inside with scrapbook paper that matched.

Made a Long Note Pad  and did the same thing except used some color printer paper instead of construction paper.

Made a tiny note pad with left over yellow printer paper and added the jump ring.

A Tough Day

Today, is a very difficult day for me because my life was forever changed in a way I never imagined. two years ago.   I’ve lost more than just the full use of my right arm, I’ve lost a bit of myself.  I never thought at this age I’d be asking my kids to tie my shoes or zip my coat that was suppose to be when I was an old lady. It’s never been easy for me to ask for help and everyday I am forced to ask help for mediocre things. I had my dream job for a mere few months before getting injured and life was going great. I’ve had a lot of struggles these past 2 years.   While the old saying time heals all wounds, is nice in theory but time doesn’t heal ALL wounds; time just makes it more tolerable. I’m trying so hard to help myself, but I can never go to work like I always had because of my arm, the pain, the fear, anxiety and medicine.  I’ve pitied, empathized, sulked and just out right felt sorry for myself long enough. I’m not looking for you to pity or feel sorry for me either, I know its probably coming across as a “Poor Me”, but I’m not.  I’ve been working really really hard these past few months to get something going. I am an Artist always have been and always will be. While I never will be able to pick up a pencil and doodle or draw or pick up a paint brush on a whim and paint ever again.  I CAN and I WILL always do some crafting!  Its not to my caliber of artistic ability I had 2 years ago but I’m getting better.  I’ve started a Blog, Became a CTMH Conultant (Scrapbooking’s Amway) Etsy Store, Facebook Fan Page and even a Twitter!  I’m asking for your help.
How do you hear about the next Starbuck’s or Target or any new store opening?  Usually, from friends and family, basically through word of mouth.  Well, that’s all I’m asking for is word of mouth.  Tell friends and Family about my sites. Its not all Scrapbooking and Stamping, though my Blog and Facebook Fan Page is and CTMH website too, but My Etsy Store is full of gifts, greeting cards and more! I’m trying to make today a more pleasant memorable day, while I will never forget April 21, 2008 because of the physical reminder everyday I can associate it with April 21, 2010 which was a much better day (at least I’m hopeful).

Cards Made w/sketch & Cut Guide

These were made with my most recent cut guides and sketches. Some don't match up because they were miscut. But wanted to share them anyways. These are going to CFS (cards For Soldiers) great little group i belong to for several years. Its very rewarding, though i miss not being able to make as many cards as i use to or being the West coast shipper.  But still enjoy giving back!

The papers are from DCWV Rock n Roll stack ( ican't think of what the actual name was) and Luxury stack and just a solid blue color. I wanted to make cards that would be good for those teenagers age group. Just basic any day cards!
