More Recyling Ideas

You know all those cans and jars we toss in the recycle bin? Send them through the dishwasher (after you've removed any paper labels) Get them good and clean! Now you can use them for storage for all sorts of stuff! You can alter them for gifts! I have been working on a few as a new idea I got the other day! I'll be adding a New album under Photos as "recycled". now you may have already seen a few of the things I've already made.
There are so many things we can recycle and save our Money for something else!  Something I've seen they actually sell in stores like the Plastic Mayonnaise jars. They want $9.99 for 3 and they are not as sturdy as the ones I've recycled!
My recycled Gum containers from its original to storing "skittles" and Buttons! they are the perfect sized and there are two openings!

My recycled Christmas Tins. I have my "larger" Flowers in these.
My Recylced Glass jars. From Salsa, Relish to Spagetti sauce jars. Turned into great "candy" jars. Or storage Jars for flowers (or whatever you need to store)

Little Plastic Water Bottles are great for storing "skittles" too or making into cute little gift packs!

Recycled Mayonnaise Jars. All sort of uses! Storing Ribbon, making into an adorable decorative jar!

Another Cool Tutorial!

These Guys have another Cool Video! Check out their neat tutorial on how to make "faux" Prima Flowers!

Paper Bows

Make Paper Bows!

Cut a magazine page( or any paper of your choice)  lengthwise into 9 strips, 3/4" wide.
Leave 3 of the strips full length.
Cut one inch off 3 of the strips.
Cut two inches off 2 of the strips.
Cut the last strip down to 3 1/2" long.
You do have some paper that will have to be thrown in the recycle bin!

Twist each strip to form a loop at both ends and staple it in the center.

Shape the short strip into a circle and secure it with a glue dot.

Layer the 3 longest pieces on top of each other, spacing them evenly and securing each with a glue dot.

Add the next two groups of pieces, doing the same.

And finally, stick the loop into the center.

Junk Mail recylce Tips and Ideas!

If you’re like me you get a tons of catalogs and pieces of junk mail each day. These catalogs come from all kinds of sources. Want a great way to recycle these without throwing them just in that recycle bin?

Several ideas: One turn them into envelopes! Find a simple template and fold, cut, and paste and you've got an envelope!

What about making handmade paper bows? I've got instructions for making those. You can use those ads or even newspaper for this!

Make paper bows out of those magazine or "ad" magazines that just end up in the recycle bin!

Another one i just forgot about as i pulled from my "scratch" paper pile to make a note to myself!

When you get those envelopes that they want you to send back your "application" or whatever, I save those and reuse them!PLEASE BEWARE YOU MUST COVER THEIR PRE-PAID POSTAGE WITH YOUR POSTAGE!!  i will use small "scratch" paper to cover the pre-addressed part and write in the address i want it to go to.  If the letters in the junk mail are blank on one side i cut the paper in squares to use for "scratch" paper!

More Layouts - Those professional "ones"

You know we all have those beautiful Professional photos that we can't keep them up all on our walls forever! Remember to leave room later in your book if your one of those who is caught up!  If your like me and way behind, you can add them as you go! Here a few more of my neice, that are the professional ones.
