Sorry I've been MIA. I have been sick as a dog and just can't seem to shake this cold, Its been 6 weeks. I start feeling better for a day or two then wake up feeling like crap for weeks. I've been working on my 25 Days of Cut Files, I know many have enjoyed the years past and want to share again. 

Starting Nov. 29th I will be posting a New Cut file for 25 days straight.

Friday Freebie Cut File 11-01-2013

Yes, I'm late again! I'm trying but life is just getting in the way! Totally missed last week cause I got that nasty cold that is going around and it kicked my butt.  This week has been paperwork and phonecalls to car insurance cause my baby girl got in her first car accident. Everyone is ok, cars not so much but thats what we have insurance for. I have 2, yup I said TWO! files for you today. One is for last week and the other is for yesterday.  If you haven't checked i did add some of my old Halloween cut files from years previous, so go to the FREBIES tab up top to get them now. HUGE De-Stashing Sale!

I need to sell alot of my scrapbooking items. I have tons of stuff and need money to pay for my recent red light traffic ticket very frustrating! I also have so much medical debt that I just can't find my way out of it. My microwave is shorting out and my washing machine is literally falling apart and breaking down. With no job and unable to work for the past 5 + yrs. because of my injury, plus still haven't had my abitration date for suing Dr. Daniel Davis who screwed up not only my right arm but my life and the wonderful (NOT) US gov't doesn't think I am disabled enough to recieve disability even though I've paid into it and qualify, plus the greedy lawyers don't want to take my disability case on because I'm a low wage earner, gee so sorry I worked for such little money but it was enough money when i worked and for what I worked for. Just a no win situation! Theres definately something wrong with the "system". In any case I'll stop babbling away about my troubles and issues.

I will be listing stuff here on my blog and on Etsy to sell. I got lots of paper, emboss folders, CTMH Stamp sets, Storage containers, embellishments, kits I've made for scrapbook layouts, cards, and embellishments and lots of other scrapbooking/papercrafting related items. I always combine shipping to save money and I charge actual shipping. I also give you the best and cheapest ways for shipping plus priority and priority flat rate.

I am going to create a "TAB" on the blog that says "For Sale" and that is where I will post everything I have for sale.  I will create a post with links to items I will be listing on Etsy store to take you right to the link. It will take me a few days to get everything listed both here and on Etsy. If you purchase anything and then see something else you want to purchase later (within 2-3days) of listing and buying, just purchase the other item and send me an email @ TheScrapoholic@gmail.com  with subject: Sale combine shipping  or something to that effect and let me know you'd like your purchases combined. I will combine them and refund any shipping costs that was overpaid (if applicable).

Sorry I've been MIA for so long

Its been quite a few months since I've posted on my blog or any Social media site for my Scrapoholics. 2013 has been the year from Hell! Its been one bad thing after another some very simple to more complex. Though almost 2 weeks ago I did have an awesome thing done! I had a spinal stimulator put in for my nerve pain in my right arm. I'm still recovering from the surgery but my pain levels in my arm have been way down and I feel its going to be even better once my surigcal pain subsides. I have been working on slowly still recoverying my files from my external HD that has issues, its been a slow process. I also, have been working on more cut files. I hope to get back to posting more regularly but making no promises to any schedule as the way this year has gone Im too afraid to make any commitments. I do have a post ready to go for tomorrow Friday Freebie so be sure to check back tomorrow for a cool fun Halloween cut file.

Friday MTC/SVG Friday for May 31st

Just like my Saturday Sketch, I forgot to post my Friday Freebie too. I know I haven't been posting on a regular schedule like I've said I'd try to. I do apologize, as life is still crazy and hiccups keep happening. But I am trying to get my schedule going and stick to it and hope to have my post be regular again. I am still trying to recover my files from my computer that I waited 5 months to (not) get fixed. i slowly am recovering my files, but its taking a lot longer than I expected. I have been making some new ones to break up the monotony of the mundane life I live. I thank you for still being a fan and sticking around and waiting for me.  :)  I do love sharing my creations and I love seeing others creations too!

Scrapsome Design Team First Challenge Snips & Snails 3 of 3 Projects

As you may (or may not) have seen my past two post (three really) of the products I received from Scrapsome to do my DT Challenge which was to do anything! I just LOVE the Kids paper Doodle Bug "Snips & Snails" and the Bazzil Cardstock plus the cardstock Stickers!

 I was flooded with so many things to do! If you missed the Mini Pocket Album I made and Posted you can check it out HERE and if you missed the Coordinating Card check it out HERE

Of course with any gift and a Card, what do you need?
 A Bag or Box, of course!

I haven't mad one of these in so long! I came across a whole punch of these Clear Acrylic Pillow Boxes that I've had for quite some time. I remember at a Scrapbook Expo in CA I want to say it was the 2nd one I went to. There was a booth that had these as a Make n Take. It was a smaller one and for a Birthday. I of course made mine to coordinate with and Hold the Card and Mini Album I made.

 Start with the Clear Acrylic Pillow Box
You can make one out of Paper or Cardstock too

 You cut a 4" x 12" Strip from your choice of Paper.
Wrap around the Pillow Box and adhere the edge
that laps over the other edge of paper.

 Then you cut a 4" x 4" (or size of your choice)
as you can see I missed measured and cut short so I made do with what I did.
You adhere the Square down after you ink or distress the edges, if you choose.

 Next, you cut a 3.5" x 3.5" Square, round the corners if you like.
Ink or Distress the edges of the paper, if you want to.
Then adhere it to the bigger square that is already adhered down.

 This is where you Choose to decorate for your Theme and Style.
I used the Doodle Bug Paper Snips n Snails Print that had Borders of Clothesline with baby items.
I cut/trimmed out another Clothesline, added adhesive to the back
 and wrapped it around the Pillow Box.

I then started adding the Paper House "Born To Be Wild" Cardstock Stickers.
