I feel like such a FOOL! So, recently while designing a new file and was having difficulty getting it to cut properly, i reached out to a friend to see if it was my design, or my software or my cutter. She uses SVG format and she asked me why do you still seperate your SVG files? Which, I simply replied because other wise they are "joined/welded" and when opened in other programs they don't work properly. To which she replied, you don't need to do that anymore! WHAT!? When did this happen!? Oh my I feel like such a fool! How did I miss this critical information!? I'm glad I found out but wish I knew earlier.
So, To fix the files I've already updated, I need to go back and fix those SVGs. I'm glad I found out now since I've only updated a handful of my files. OH, the Time it will save me!!! I've also decided that I'm only going to do Color JPEGS for tracing the peices, for the time being. But I'm curious, does anyone still need the JPEG formats to trace? I don't mind doing them but if noone is using them then, what's the point?! If you still use them, please let me know because If I don't hear, I may just eliminate that format to save me more time.
Also, I'll be asking this question in the next few Card & Layout Sketch posts, in case everyone doesn't see this post. Since, I've had numereous requests to seperate the files and Sketches because many are just "pinning" the sketches and don't want to download them. I'm curious do I still need to make the "Sketches" downladable? or do y'all want to just "pin" them? You can still right click and "save" the pictures. If you could comment with your thoughts, so I can take it in for consideration of how to proceed in the future?
If you want your options please speak up because If I don't hear, you could loose your options. Once, I stop doing options, I may decide not to go back. Speak now or forever hold your peace!
Until Next Time...
