MTC/SVG Monday

Good Monday Morning, afternoon, evening!

Today I have a cute and Simple Christmas File for you in preparation for the upcoming Holiday Season! I can't believe tomorrow is Nov. 1st. Oct. kept me busy with all my evaluation appts. with all the Doctors, and therapists. This next month will be just as busy since i will be starting physical therapy along with pool therapy (each 2 days a week), home PT and neuro-psychologist therapy, (twice a month. On top of that if you saw yesterdays post, I am hosting a 30 Day Handmade Gift making Hop, which will be easy since its going to be all pre-scheduled posts. I am also, hoping to add 30 days of Christmas Cards since I've made 30 different styles to put in my etsy and/or zibbet shop and a few for myself to mail to family and friends. I am debating on adding in 30 Days of MTC/SVG Files, not sure if I have enough made or I may hold of until Dec for that one so its not too much in one month. So, depending on which way I decide there maybe a file each day or there maybe none at all for the whole month, since I would be saving them for next month to post. Check back tomorrow either way for the start of the Hop and Christmas Cards, I promise you won't be disappointed :)

For today's Free File:
Candy Cane

Freebies expire after awhile and are removed as a Free download.

Sorry Freebie Has Expired

Check For $ale Tab or My Etsy Store for Possible Purchase

My Memories Giveaway ~ Disney Christmas Layouts

I made 5 Layouts using the My Memories Digital Scrapbooking Software. I used the Christmas Snow Templates, these are pre-made layouts with very little embellishing but the pictures are just click and enter. I added ribbons, mats, snowflakes, text, journaling blocks, flowers and more.  I used all the stuff that is either comes pre-loaded in the software or from the freebies kits. I am having a Giveaway of the My Memories Digital Software. Check out the rules HERE, its pretty simple to enter in for a chance to win this fun and easy digital scrapbooking software.

Again, none of these cost me any money to make since it was from the pre-loaded items and from the freebies kits. Though there kits are very affordable. If your looking for an easy, fun and simple digital scrapbooking software I would recommend this program. So, be sure to enter into the giveaway contest. If you don't happen to win or you already have this wonderful program be sure to use this coupon code: MMS4Blog to save! My Memories Giveaway ~ Holiday Layouts

Wanted to share two simple quick and easy Holiday Layouts I did using the My Memories Suite V.2

Remember there is a chance for you to win this software for Free Check out my earlier Blog post HERE about how you can enter a chance to win this easy and fun digital scrapbooking software!

This Christmas Layout was super easy. One it was a pre-made layout, just add the picture of your choice and then add any embellishments you chose.  I added the ribbon knots, chose the color and resized and turned them as I wanted. I added the faux stitching, chose again, color, size and place for it to be. This one took me less than 5 minutes from opening up the software to exporting the .jpeg file.

This Halloween Layout I built "Custom" Layout.  I chose the picture amount, the way the pictures were to be placed on the layout, background paper, embellishments, matting the pictures, color and thickness of mats, and the border and ribbon of ricrac. This one did take me a lil longer as i played around with different background papers and embellisments. I think overall it was less than 15 min.

Both these layouts didn't cost me one cent. It was done with what comes pre-loaded on the software and with stuff from their FREEBIES, check out all those HERE! But even their kits in their shops are very affordable and they always seem to be having some sort of sale!

Remember, If you can't wait to win or don't win, My Memories Suite is giving my readers a special coupon code to save $10 on the purchase of the software AND a $10 coupon to use in the MyMemories.com store - a $20 value!  Just use this coupon code: MMS4Blog to save!!  This coupon code can be used at any time and feel free to share it with your friends. I will have a button on my sidebar with the coupon code also for future use.

Again, Check out my previous Post on rules (simple only 2 required, the rest are optional) to be entered into the contest to win this fun and easy digital scrapbooking software.

My Memories Giveaway (Digital Software) Want to Win it?!

I'm thrilled to share this wonderful scrapbooking software, My Memories Suite, that I was recently introduced to, with all you, my readers.  I have been playing around with it a little and it is lots of fun and so easy to use.  I am still on that fence about digital vs. traditional and I think finding different softwares to play around with is getting me to the point of mixed. I honestly don't know if I ever will give up traditional but thinking in the far future everything will be on some sort of media and want to preserve my creations for future generations to enjoy and know who "we were".

What is My Memories Suite version 2 software? It is a complete digital scrapbooking solution that provides a powerful set of creative tools and multiple sharing options that no other software can offer. Its has great time-saving features (as digital is supposed to be quicker and faster) which is great for a beginner to build an entire album probably about the time it takes to traditional make a few pages , or to allow the more novice to experienced scrapper to build a scrapbook album masterpiece. Its NOT just pages you can create, you can create CARDS too!

Like I said its not just for scrapbooking, you can also make cards, calendars and so much more with My Memories Suite. The software already comes pre-loaded with a ton of awesome layouts, papers, embelishments, etc., but they offer additional digital scrapbooking kits/paper/layouts that you can purchase.

They also have wedding studio software and photobook studio software available. They have pre-made layouts BUT you aren't a slave to them. You can customize, re-size and crop your little heart out. You can add embellishments, journaling boxes and word art. You can even add music and narration to share online or turn it into a video.  Of course who doesn't love Freebies right? be sure to check out the free downloads they have, you'll be amazed at all the Free downloads available. But even the price for the packages is so reasonable and the great sales they have make it so affordable!

I'm sure I'll get more creative with this as I learn the software better, and learn to make better layouts, cards and more. As with anything, you need to spend the time to learn its possibilities to make it work for you.

Best  part of Digital (sometimes is obvious) of the hassle and savings of no cutting, gluing, making a mess.  I love scrapbooking, but getting all that stuff out and putting it up is why I haven't done a page in so long.  Also, it saves you time and money on printing pictures as the pictures are printed with the layout and they are perfectly cropped/sized when you do the layout.

MTC/SVG Monday Button Fixed!

Freebies expire after awhile and are removed as a Free download.

Sorry Freebie Has Expired

Check For $ale Tab or My Etsy Store for Possible Purchase

For those that had questioned what an MTC (Make The Cut) or SVG (Scalable Vector Graphic) File is.  They are files that work with an electronic die cutting machine, such as the Silhouette, BossKut, if you have an older version of either MTC (Make The Cut) or SCAL (Sure Cuts A Lot) you can use it on the Cricut using it with a compatible or 3rd party software, such as  MTC (Make The Cut) or SCAL (Sure Cuts A Lot) . There are many other machines that the 3rd party Software are compatible with. They allow you to cut the images in the different pieces to basically make a "paper peicing" of the image w/out having to hand cut because the machine does it for you. Hope that explains it?

MTC/SVG Monday

Good Afternoon, sorry I forgot to get my post ready early and scheduled. I was a bit pre-occupied with my dr. appt. I had today. I had an injection, known as a nerve block, which I have had done before and not so successful. Never mind the fact that my original injury was caused by an injection and creating a complete and utter fear of needles. Though, I am home and the procedure is done and went well w/out any issues and not feeling any undue pain like the last one. Time will tell if it works, as of right this minute my arm feels great from the lidocaine but that will be wearing off soon :(  but hopefully the other meds he injected will kick in and it will do its job for hopefully for a least a week, a month would be wonderful, a couple months would be better but I'm keeping my expectations low.  However, my files for today I hope meet your expectations!

Meet the cute and furry or not so furry Halloween Monsters, Which don't necessarily need to be used just for Halloween as they are generic but absolutely adorable (i think anyways). For the .zip file which contains both the MTC and SVG Files in the one and a color picture of the monsters is just $2 for all 7 of the silly cute monsters. (most other sites charge $1 up to $4 for just one character).

Check For $ale Tab or My Etsy Store for Possible Purchase

MTC is all in one file and each layer is a different color
SVG is in several files in order to fit all the pieces and there is a color Picture which hopefully helps for the different layers.

I wish I knew how to export from Make the Cut to a SVG file in color and in the multi layer like MTC does?
Is that possible or does SVG files just not work that way?

DESIGN TEAM INSPIRATION

Please head over to the Design Team Blogs and see more on their awesome inspirational work. They work just as hard on their projects as I do on making the files and I know the'd love some lovin'.  Even if you just checked one of the boxes under their posts about how you feel. It only takes a minute to put a smile on someone's face.  Thanks

Thanks!
