I'm thrilled to share this wonderful scrapbooking software, My Memories Suite, that I was recently introduced to, with all you, my readers. I have been playing around with it a little and it is lots of fun and so easy to use. I am still on that fence about digital vs. traditional and I think finding different softwares to play around with is getting me to the point of mixed. I honestly don't know if I ever will give up traditional but thinking in the far future everything will be on some sort of media and want to preserve my creations for future generations to enjoy and know who "we were".
What is My Memories Suite version 2 software? It is a complete digital scrapbooking solution that provides a powerful set of creative tools and multiple sharing options that no other software can offer. Its has great time-saving features (as digital is supposed to be quicker and faster) which is great for a beginner to build an entire album probably about the time it takes to traditional make a few pages , or to allow the more novice to experienced scrapper to build a scrapbook album masterpiece. Its NOT just pages you can create, you can create CARDS too!
Like I said its not just for scrapbooking, you can also make cards, calendars and so much more with My Memories Suite. The software already comes pre-loaded with a ton of awesome layouts, papers, embelishments, etc., but they offer additional digital scrapbooking kits/paper/layouts that you can purchase.
They also have wedding studio software and photobook studio software available. They have pre-made layouts BUT you aren't a slave to them. You can customize, re-size and crop your little heart out. You can add embellishments, journaling boxes and word art. You can even add music and narration to share online or turn it into a video. Of course who doesn't love Freebies right? be sure to check out the free downloads they have, you'll be amazed at all the Free downloads available. But even the price for the packages is so reasonable and the great sales they have make it so affordable!
I'm sure I'll get more creative with this as I learn the software better, and learn to make better layouts, cards and more. As with anything, you need to spend the time to learn its possibilities to make it work for you.
Best part of Digital (sometimes is obvious) of the hassle and savings of no cutting, gluing, making a mess. I love scrapbooking, but getting all that stuff out and putting it up is why I haven't done a page in so long. Also, it saves you time and money on printing pictures as the pictures are printed with the layout and they are perfectly cropped/sized when you do the layout.
