Tinkerbell Countdown Calendar

I made this as a gift for a little girl. Its a little 5x7 (or something like that) clipboard. I spray painted the whole thing with rasberry Krylon spray paint. I then added the papers and an envelope i covered with pattern paper.  All background paper is CTMH.  All the cuts are from Tinkerbell except the numbers.  Those were cut in SCAL from a font? and white vinyl. the flowers are Prima paper flowers.

So, this is technically not a "Sketch", but i  couldn't figure out how to "sketch" it.  So i just made one and took pics.  I was challenged by my sister to try The Tri-Fold Shutter Card. I know many have done these.  Its so much easier than i ever thought!

This one again you get to use some more scraps.  I'm all about getting rid of my mounds and boxes of scraps :) In the sketch I couldn't get the shadow of the oval to show all the way around.  So you can do it with the shadow all the way around or the way the sketch shows it.  Change it up, do it the same.  Its all about having fun and getting ahead!

Here is the second Sketch.  There is the background paper, then 4 strips of paper, how you choose those 4 strips to be. then its suppose to be a ribbon tied into a bow across, but you can use just a strip of paper too. And the scalloped circle is to be stamped with something or even embossed.  Good Luck!

Christmas Card Sketch 1

Well, as promised Nov. 1st starts my 30 day of Christmas card Sketches.  I'll post my made cards at the end of each day.  To give you a day to look at my grayscale sketches and hope it helps you with your mojo.  If your like me and see a sketch then see it done, you want to recreate with the same papers and stuff and we all have different papers so alot of time your like ugh!  I want this to be fun! And for you to be ahead of the game and get those cards done!  Make one or 2 cards a day and by the end of the month you'll have at least 30 cards!

The Close to My Heart Acrylix Organizer, on pg. 99 of the Winter 2009 catalog. (z1038) is meant to store the acrylix stamp sets.  Well, my friend Kathy wanted to know if the emboss folders would fit!  They do! here's a pic of 48 cuttlebug A2 emboss folders ( i put some standing up and on their sides to show how they can fit either way!), 49 small emboss folders, 7 old sizzix embosslits and 15 tall border cuttlebug emboss folders.  As you can see they fit great with room.  Though because of its depth, I have to say i don't like the little emboss folders in there.  There is two dividers in the box too, so it will help from them sliding forward.  I have a few other nifty ideas for the box too, which once i get them decorated i will post.  So watch for those too!

lot's Happening over the next month or so!  I've found my Mojo and going with it while it lasts!!

I am going to start on Nov. 1st, 30 Days of Christmas card Sketches.  With Christmas coming up and we all like to make cards for family and friends. I thought it would be great to have some inspiration for those days that your mojo is just not there but you want to creat a christmas card or two!
