Here is the first layout i did for it, but i wasn't entirely pleased with it. I mean i like how it turned out, but didn't think it was "entry" worthy! NOt my best work!

Now, this one! well, I think the pictures themselves are just great! I lokked at these and new exactly the color palette to work with and it just fell onto the paper all by itself (i swear) and all i had to do was assemble it!
What did I use? Lots of CTMH stuff
"heavenly Blue" cardstock, Passages level 2 paper pack, Felicity papers (no longer available), Sunflower or Honey cardstock, Barn Red cardstock, holiday red cardstock and Colonial White cardstock
I used "chocolate" CTMH ink to ink all the edges and "star spangeled Blue" ink for a few mats inking.
I used CTMH Flip Flaps (Z4114) great way to get some extra pictures in there!
Used Cricut to make embellishments. Cartridges used were Paperdolls (the original one) for all pirate items (Skull & bones, pirate ship, compass, map and Treasure chest.)
Plantin Schoolbook in DS welded words. "pirate Ships" inked in "chocolate ink"
