Fantabulous Cricut Blog Challenge ME Monday #37
Create a project having something to do with being Thankful As always there needs to be an image cut using your cricut on your project.
I chose to do a Thankful tree. I used both Happy Hauntings for the "tree" and the "table" and Pooh and Friends for the "leaves. I also, inked and embossed the leaves. I inked the edges in CTMH ink Cranberry and used Divine swirls Emboss folder. For the leaves I use CTMH Terracotta and Colonial White Cardstock (sponged inked in numerous colors to get the colored effect) for the leaves top and shadow. For the Tree I used CTMH Chocolate Cardstock. For the table I used CTMH terracotta and topiary cardstock.
Though I found I had to double up on the Tree and the base of the table. Meaning I cut 2 of each and adhered them together and I still found them to be a bit flimsy. I would suggest using chipboard then covering in preferred color of cardstock for more sturdiness. Overall I am still pleased with its overall outcome and can't wait to use it on Thanksgiving and everyone to write on the back of the leaves what they are
Thankful For!
