I just also want to say Thank you for all the comments! I don't think I've ever had so many! Yahoo doesn't know what to do with them all and shame on them throwing all the love in my spam box! Then they keep the elderly dating and care and all the credit card and work at home ones in my inbox!

I've chosen to do a new project everyday! Simply because I couldn't decide on just one and kept changing my mind so I figure well why not post one every day!  So if you didn't see yesterday's project be sure to check it out!

Today I'm excited about these guys! You remember this Guy?

My Scarecrow was the first one i made and the easiest!

These two have been a bit more complicated. I have made my own MTC (Make The Cut) Files for these. I still need to work on the covers they need just (hopefully) one more adjustment. My goal is that when you open the file you don't need to resize, you will need to move some stuff to cut. I have decided once these files are finished and just right, I am going to charge a small fee because i've worked really really hard and put alot of time into them. I also, decide that some files like these that i put more than a week's worth of time into I will charge a small fee. Still affordable, but my time is worth something. As much as I love to share, many friends, family and even co-workers (other bloggers that I've made cyber friends with) have said that I should charge for some of the stuff. Yadda, yadda, yadda back to the projects!

Here is my Witch!  She i made the boxes into actual boxes.  So it doesn't open like an Exploding Box.  She stands about 14" tall when all stacked! Other than the spider which is from Cricut paper Dolls, and the metal buckle and ribbon, all else is cut in MTC with my files i made. I used all CTMH cardstock.

Here is Dracula! He stands about 11" tall.  He has his vest embossed with the spider web emboss folder and the buttons are CTMH Pearls. All of him is cut from the MTC files I made too! As You can see his "hair" doesn't quite fit and his "eyes" need to be just slightly bigger! I used all CTMH Cardstock.

Here's what I have for today! Not the greatest pictures as it has been overcast here in So. CAL for the last few days so no great natural light and having to use my flash and lots of shadows. But i have to tell you i just LOVE this kind of weather, makes me a bit homesick for Oregon! These are what i like to call "card candy" not sure what I want to do with them yet. I haven't "embellished" them or even adhered them yet as i want to figure out what i want to use them on. I used the cute stamp set from CTMH "Party Animal"one of my new favorites! I used CTMH Black and Pear cardstock and cut the shapes in MTC and my Cricut using 09Kut Ups Font and Basic shapes in MTC, with a sheet of the (double sided) orange/purple polk a dot paper from CTMH "hooligans" paper pack.  (which you can purchase any of the papers, inks and stamps from my site by simply clicking the words) I used the same inks to ink the edges. I colored the little monsters in with Copic markers.

 Here is my first project of the Hop!

Its a Sign i made using the Cricut and Design Studio with Happy Hauntings and George and welded the top sign. I used Make the cut and the Font Addams Family Regular for the words. I used Chipboard, black, white and Green vinyl for the signs and to link them together i used jump rings and punched holes using the cropodile!

The whole sign hanging on my door as it will be seen for the trick or treaters halloween night!

Big Ten Blog Hop continued...

Ok, Blogger is really frustrating me! I've lost all the blogs I was following and have to re-follow everyone for starters.  My First Big Ten Blog Hop post is not showing my whole post! I see everything in edit mode but when i publish its not all there?  I've checked from my daughters computer and it does the samething. Very frustrating!
I tried adding my pictures of my card and layout but its not allowing me to add pictures now! I don't know whats  going on and I'm having a really bad arm day today! I used CTMH Olivia Paper Pack, Color Inks are CTMH: Cranberry, Sunflower, Sunset, Pear, Autumn Terracotta, and Chocolate.  I used Four Seasons CTMh Clear Stamp set (B1319), Martha Stewart Border Punch. Iused CTMH Photo Hanger and Hollyhock Twill ribbon, along with White Just Blooms paper flowers inked in Sunflower, Sunset and Cranberry with Cordoroy Green Brad for center. Also, the "Irresistable" butterfly used Sunflower, Sunset and Cranberry inks. The Owl is from Stampin Up Punch.

I'm playing catch up from last week and on top of it, my son's loaner computer for school has crashed! So he will need mine to do his school work. Positive of this is I'm forced to use some undo from my behind to loosen that sticky from my rear to the chair and get something done!

Hannuka Cards

I know its a lil early and we are all thinking Halloween! But when it comes to making Cards for Soldiers. We have to think way ahead. Time to make them, send to shipper, shipper sorts, boxes and mail, time to arrive to soldiers serving abroad, Soldiers choosing card, writes notes and mails. Time to arrive to Soldier's friends or family. So anyways, here are some cards I made for CFS! Nothing fancy but i think quite beautiful!

I used CTMH Magnifique papers, CTMH Stamp set for the small menorah, Star of David and bird, The Large Silver Menorah, is embossed in silver emboss powder I forget who makes the stamp. I used the Swiss Dots, Birthday candles, Snow Dots and one of those "border" emboss folders. Also the "silver paper " is actually tinfoil! Different ribbons. The blue looped is Martha Stewart Punch. I also used CTMH licorice opaques.

Can You believe its already Oct? I can't! Nevermind the fact that this week has flown by probably cause i slept most of it away or tried to. Didn't get much done a few cards here and there when I could handle it. After seeing the Dr. yesterday and being told I have a sprained wrist and shoulder and to add injury on top of already injury he was very sympathetic and said I was Unique! awww! how special but I know really its just because of my situation, maybe they'll write about me in the meical journal of perplexity! So, his prescription was more pain meds (oh joy, NOT!) i know most people are like WHAT? give me some! I'd sell them and probably become quite rich! BUt NO! i have to take them against my will so i can function. I hate takin medicine just FYI! 9.9 times out of 10 I won't take medicine. Anyways, I'm babbling away, so i'll blame the meds and lack of sleep!

Its October and your thinking Halloween! Well, think different! Get into the Winter Spirit! Think Snow! Maybe it will help cool off So. CAl from this heat wave!

Tutorial on How to Trace in MTC!

Sorry, haven't been posting alot these last couple days between the heat wave and having no A/C, which is finally fixed YEAH! I also, tripped and fell over one of the gazillion fan cords we had blowing and yup, fell right on my already injured arm. I think i sprained my wrist and possibly dislocated my sholder?!  All I know is it hurt like the dickens and its swollen and I can't ice it because my arm does NOT like the cold. So I have been resting and doing as little as possible. Though drives me insane to sit still so this morning i did a quick video on how to trace with MTC! (make The Cut).

Big Ten Blog Hop and more

Hello My Scrapoholics! How is everyone? I've been frustrated at trying to get my Halloween Character Exploding boxes together! Working on Gathering more Blogs to join the Blog Hop! Remember Everyone with a Blog is invited to the Blog Hop, If you don't have a Blog your invited to hop to the blogs and check out all the cool stuff that will be featured! I will be featuring my top ten favorites! And a New Project as one of my top Ten Favorites! So, if we can spread the word of the Hop and get more involved the more fun it will be! I did add the "badge" for the hop off to the right for anyone who'd like to grab it and add it to thier Blog! Everyone seemed to like the badge that had emailed me, a few mentioned keeping the background white so I do like it with the white background seems to "pop" more.

Anyways, other things is I'm working on a custom album for the Facebook "refer a Friend" contest winner. I can't share any until I am done and they have it in hand because I want them to see it first and in person. We all know how different things look in person vs. pictures. I have been tweaking my MTC files for the Character Exploding boxes, that is part of my frustration. Cut it out and its just that smidgen off. I've put a ton of time and effort into these and I am happy how they have turned out. I can say I do understand why some charge money for their files.  I normally share mine for free mostly because they don't take me but a day. These have consumed alot of my time and been alot of work to get them just right. I did these from scratch. I'll be keeping it a fair and affordable price, but I do feel my time is worth a few pennies an hr. Most of the files I share in the future will continue to be free except for those that are like this that have consumed alot of work and my time. I still need to put a few touches and add some notes and try to get them them converted to SVG files too for those that have SCAL and not MTC.

Big Ten Blog Hop

I had this idea in the middle of a sleepless night. So, not sure if you'll think the idea is as Big and exciting as I think it is! But I'm excited about it and hope for it to turn into what I imagined and thought! I never get to be in any blog hops, tuntil recently I was invited to one in Oct. and I'm SUPER excited about it! That will be my first ever to have my blog involved in a Blog Hop! Anyways, Oct. 10, 2010 is coming upon us, maybe you didn't realize its 10-10-10!  How cool is that right! I know a ton of weddings that day! But my idea is to have the largest Blog Hop Ever! I want to get 101,010 (or more) blogs participating! I call it the BIG TEN BLOG HOP!  Maybe there's been a larger Blog hop? I have no idea?!

This is how it will work. You invite 10 blogs to "hop" and you list those 10 blogs on your blog and they inturn they have you on their blog and they invite 9 other blogs to "hop" and so on and so forth.  Then anyone who'd like to be on the Big Ten Blog Hop Major List email me  TheScrapoholic@gmail.com  Subject: Big Ten Hop with their Blog name and Blog address. On 10-10-10 I will have a Big Ten Blog Hop Major List with clickable links of all the blogs that are hopping that day. As I said I'd love to get to at least 101,010 blogs on the list. They don't all have to be "Scrapbooking Blogs", they can be any crafting blog or any blog so long as it is "Rated G". there are often times we forget but young adults and even young teenagers attend these blog hops and I'd like to keep it basically clean!

I thought to make it easy that day you pick 10 things to showcase, talk about, favorites, your top ten best etc.  If you choose to have "blog candy" or play a game. Its "Bloggers" choice!

I created a badge to have everyone put on their blog that is participating in the Big Ten Blog Hop. I'm not good at this computer graphics thing so if anyone wants to "enhance" or make the badge look better please let me know by emailing me.  Below is a preview of the blog badge that I will be working to Improve over today and tomorrow and hope to have it available to "grab" by tomorrow evening!
